  • What is Simple Foods about?

    Simple Foods is a health forward, convenient and carefully sourced food brand, aiming revamp the concept of a frozen isle. Our portions are all Ready-to-Heat up and our goal is to help make your food shopping and cooking experience as easy as possible - to save you more time to do what you love! Our vacuum sealed portions can be ordered according to your preferred dietary requirements, taste preferences and individual needs.

  • How should I select my Simple Foods box?

    You can shop from our Market and select individual portions within our available categories such as Proteins, Vegetables, Bases and others. Select 12 or 24 recipes to enjoy at home, work or wherever, really. Our customers combine recipes with what they are planning to cook from scratch, leftovers or in any creative way that makes healthy eating easier for them. Our recipes are designed to be portions for one, delivered to you at home or work - to suit your schedule.

  • Why frozen?

    At Simple Foods we believe frozen food can be just as good as fresh. We carefully vacuum seal all foods to lock in vitamins. The method is used by renowned chefs in restaurants in order to maintain food’s best flavour and achieve optimum cooking results. We bring you chef-quality food without the hassle and attention you require in the traditional cooking method. Every year in the UK nearly 6 million tonnes of food from households end up in landfill. Simple Foods is a convenient, health-forward meal option, with longer shelf life that helps to cut on food waste.

  • How many recipes do you offer, how are they developed?

    We have a variety of recipes on offer, and aiming to keep the list growing! We are committed to giving you the flexibility of choice and to bring new flavours, taking advantage of seasonal ingredients to refresh our menu. All our recipes are developed by our in-house chef in our kitchen. Our flexitarian menu contains only the best ingredients boosted with macro-nutrients to support your active and healthy life. We do not use additives, preservatives, refined carbs or refined sugar.

  • Do I need to have a subscription plan?

    We believe in flexibility – it is so good, we’re sure you’ll be back for more! No subscription is needed to start enjoying Simple Foods but we have a subscription option should you with to guarantee your monthly dose of our healthy and tasty recipes.

  • Is there a Minimum order required?

    We have a minimum order of 12 or 24 items that helps us optimise all logistics and deliveries, whilst ensuring you have the best customer experience. You are free add recipes from all our categories to your cart and enjoy our free shipping policy!

  • Do I need to be in for deliveries?

    No. Through our Delivery Partner you can modify the delivery instructions for that day. Our fully recyclable packaging has a special insulation that will keep the food frozen until 7pm of your delivery day. We currently deliver on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On your delivery day you will be notified by the courier about your delivery slot. Any issues please get in touch with us at support@eatsimplefoods.co.uk

  • Where should I store my food – in the fridge or freezer?

    For a longer shelf life date you need to freeze your order. Alternatively, you can keep them in the fridge, but we recommend that you consume them within 48hours.

  • How do I heat up my food?

    When removed from the freezer, your food can be heated in the microwave at 850 watts or boiling water. The water bath or in other words, boiling method does not require any special equipment, just a pot with boiling water. You can heat up multiple portions, together. Each portion package has its individual cooking time instruction. Please make sure to follow those. Microwave: Tear top of pouch along the dotted line to open and place it on a plate. Heat as per time indicated on the label at 850Watts. If you are heating up more than one pouch, add an extra 2 ½ minutes to the highest cooking time. Microwave cooking time: 4min Cooktop: Do not tear pouch and place it in a pan with boiling water. The amount of boiling water should be enough to cover the food. Cooking time as per indicated on the label. If you are heating up more than one pouch, follow the cooking time of each portion. Cooktop cooking time: 11min

  • What are your Allergy-Friendly recipes?

    We clearly state which of our recipes are Dairy Free (DF), Vegan (V), Vegetarian (Vg), Gluten free (GF) and Nut Free (NF). Some recipes may contain other allergy-causing ingredients (ex: eggs, mustard). We follow the best practices in safe food handling, but all of our orders are prepared in a facility that handles other food groups. Therefore if you are hypoallergenic we do not recommend that you order from Simple Foods.

  • Where can I find nutritional information?

    Our nutritional information is found on each of the portion’s recipe pages, as well as on all our packaging.

  • Who are your Food suppliers?

    Simple Foods supports a balanced diet and food ecosystem. Our ingredients come from a mix of small producers and British farms who rely on crop rotation to increase the soil nutrients whilst using lower levels of pesticides. Our protein is sourced within the UK, including 100% grass fed meat and free-range chicken. We have prioritized a mindful selection of local suppliers, whilst ensuring you are getting the finest produce across the country. Each recipe contains our ingredient list. Notice you will only find natural ingredients you can recognise - no B.S., no nasties, no wierd names here!

  • What is the frozen product shelf-life and how should I store any leftovers?

    The frozen product has a shelf life of at least one month from your order date. You can also store any of the frozen portions and fresh leftovers in the refrigerator. They should be consumed within 48 hours. Once heated, the food should not be re-frozen.

  • Our ingredients

    Our quick freeze technique helps lock in vitamins and minerals to keep your food at its highest nutritional content - we only make use of fresh ingredients. Our recipe development involves a collaboration between our in-house chefs, nutritionists and food specialists to ensure all ingredients play a role in your diet. We do not use artificial ingredients, or refined card and sugar.

Recyclability
  • How sustainable is your packaging?

    Our food pouches are 100% recyclable through the Terracycle Zero Waste Box program Our carton box, wool lining and ice packs are 100% recyclable through your normal waste streams.

  • How do I return all my packages?

    Drain the gel from our ice packs (perfectly safe in your sink!) and put them into the Simple Foods box, along with the insulation liner. Rinse the pouches and along with the drained ice packs, place them in our return pouch that comes with your box and follow the instructions to send them back to us. Our aim is to be zero-waste, which is why we have made it as simple as possible for you to recycle our packaging.

  • How can I refer someone?

    Once your purchase is completed you will receive an email with a link that can be shared with how many friends you would like. You both will get a cash discount off of your next purchase. Simply copy this link and share it with friends through email or your preferred social media channels.

  • How can I claim my reward?

  • I have received a Discount Code. For how long is it valid and how can I redeem it?

    I have received a Discount Code. For how long is it valid and how can I redeem it? All our Discount Codes are valid for 3 months from the date of the initial confirmation email. Please note some promotions will only be valid for new users and can be applied when you place your first order with us. When stated, discount codes will also be valid for existing customers. To redeem this code simply add your discount code in your checkout basket and it will be automatically applied to your order.

  • Refunds

    If you have contacted us through support@eatsimplefoods.co.uk in regards to a refund Please allow 5-10 working days for this to reach your bank account

  • Order changes

    Orders are processed and the packaging process starts right away. Packing process involves confirming stock availability, printing labels, packing boxes and confirming courier collection. Therefore it is very challenging for us to make changes to orders after the order is confirmed without wasting our food. For any changes to a processed order please contact us at support@eatsimplefoods.co.uk We’ll do everything possible to be able to assist you with last-minute changes.
